Born and raised on the east coast, Pat now lives in Missouri. While visiting family in Delaware in the late 1980, she discovered a shoebox filled with newspaper clippings about various relatives. That started her on her studies and career in genealogy. In her previous Human Resources career, she held diverse training classes for a wide variety of adults leading her to a love of teaching and sharing her knowledge. Over the years, she presented at FGS, NGS, RootsTech and societies conferences and served as the education manager for the National Genealogical Society and course coordinator for IGHR. For the last 30 years, she was a genealogical instructor for St. Louis Community College. Her memberships include the National Genealogical Society, Friends of Missouri State Archives, St. Louis Genealogical Society.
