Skip Duett is a professional genealogist, speaker, and author specializing in Upstate New York research and DNA analysis. He researches, writes, and lectures on New York land records. He is conducting cutting-edge research in the application of advanced Y-DNA analysis for genealogy. He is a volunteer Project Administrator for several Y-DNA Projects hosted by FTDNA.com serving over 500 members. The author of the Mohawk Valley Ehles and Allied Families, he serves on the New York Genealogical & Biographical Society (NYG&B) Family History Advisory Committee. Skip has been researching his own family in New York for over 25 years and accepting clients since 2013. He holds a master’s degree from Syracuse University and a bachelor’s degree from the United States Naval Academy.
