Important Dates and Information

  • Six courses will be once-a-week and six will be during IGHR Week
  • IGHR Week: Monday, July 27 to Friday, July 31, 2026
  • Watch a short “how to” registration video
  • Virtual classrooms using Zoom
  • Sessions will be recorded and available for 30 days after the end of the course
  • All courses come with a digital syllabus
  • Students will receive a digital certificate upon course completion
  • Join the Georgia Genealogical Society to gain the benefit of a GGS $50 discount code.
  • Already a GGS member? Look for your discount code in the Members Area on the GGS website
  • Give an IGHR Gift Certificate!
  • 2026 tuition: $545 | $495 for GGS members (see Tuition, Policies, and Deadlines)
  • Registration Begins for ALL courses – Saturday, November 22, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. Eastern
  • Registration ends one month before each course starts
  • IGHR Course Week classes begin Monday, July 27 and end Friday, July 31, 2026

Tuition Discount

  • Are you a Georgia Genealogical Society (GGS) member? Receive a $50 tuition discount during course registration checkout!
  • Only one GGS member $50 discount permitted per individual or family membership.
  • To receive the GGS member tuition discount, you must enter the GGS member discount code during course registration. Join / renew on the GGS website before registering for IGHR. Current GGS members can find the discount code by logging in to the Members Area of the GGS website. New/renewing members will receive the code in their GGS membership confirmation email. Should you complete your registration without using the discount code, IGHR cannot reimburse you.
  • Discounts are for course tuition. (Uses other than tuition will be corrected and billed.)
