Description

This is one of two courses which will look at Virginia land records, migration, and military conflicts. Intermediate to advanced students will gain the most from this in-depth exploration of specific Virginia record groups.

Required textbooks, prerequisites, or other student information
This is the second of two Virginia research tracts. Those with extensive experience researching Virginians prior to 1850 will benefit the most from the course. Recommended reading – Eric G. Grundset, Research in Virginia. NGS Research in the States Series. Arlington, Va.: National Genealogical Society, 2014.
