Description

This course will help intermediate genealogists expand their knowledge of genealogical records and techniques. Instruction will include an exploration of a wide variety of genealogical sources including land, military, immigration, probate and court records; the use of DNA in genealogical research; and practical exercises in evaluating genealogical evidence.

Prerequisites

Completion of IGHR Course One on "Methods and Sources" or equivalent experience and education in genealogy. This course is designed for students who have experience researching in a wide variety of genealogical records both online and onsite in libraries, courthouses and archives. This course will build upon the sources and skills covered in Course One.
